    Our debt is accumilating so much mass it will eventually collapse into a gravitational singularity from which nothing, not even light or money, can escape.

    idealism is what sold Obama and what sells you to the youth. What directs the morel makeup of the American people is the balance between the idealism of youth and the pragmatism of the middle-aged guided by the wisdom of the elderly. We have become too pragmatic, the ends do not justify the means when the definition of what it is to be American is being scarf iced for the sake of security. The better qualities of Americans are a self sufficiency, freedom loving people, a benevolent nature.

  7. Kingery4President Says:

    @LORDOFWARS8 Absolutely, gov is an overhead. So too is your light-bill and your grocery bill. Are you going to tell me that they also are NOT A GOOD THING? I doubt that. Just because a ting is an overhead does not automatically make it a bad thing. Too much or too little of a good thing is bad in and of itself. “Overhead” is one of those things needed to simply survive, once broken down to its simplest definition — the cost to do something.

  8. LORDOFWARS8 Says:

    @Kingery4President
    But we all can agree that govt. by itself is an overhead…and hence not a GOOD thing. Now like any good householder/businessman/accountant, what will you like to do with any overheads?

    What that govt. does is a matter of a different discussion altogether?

  9. LORDOFWARS8 Says:

    @Michael7477

    Can you PLEASE be a little positive? A little will go far in the times to come

  10. LORDOFWARS8 Says:

  15. LiteWaiter Says:

    If anyone thinks it is just a coincidence that the enormous US National Debt started it’s journey towards epic proportions in 1971, think again.
    If anyone thinks it is just a coincidence that the “Reichsmark style” inflation of the US dollar started in 1971, think again.
    If anyone thinks Nixon said the truth about leaving the Bretton Woods agreements in 1971 “To save the US dollar”, think again.

  16. TheCashistrash Says:

    shit 19 trillion dollars in debt by 2012. He is right government will destroy the currency by liquidating the debt by money printing every country in the world has done that we are no different. Invest in gold and silver people. Gold will sky rocket in next 5 years

  17. kernielsen Says:

    The shadow government does not want Ron Paul in power because the master plan for this country would come to a halt, and America would get back on track and stay as America. Bare arms it’s coming.

  18. k1a1t1h1y1 Says:

    @Lobotomick I feel the same way:) a great man, Ron Paul.

  19. kalumnist Says:

    The Republicans pretend to agree with Ron Paul. But he is the only one who makes sense. Granted the Consumption Tax is largely unworkable. But real life is we have to reduce the national debt in half. Bottom line is we need a $500b surplus for the next 10 years. Not a good idea to tank the dollar. But people will have to accept it. Since it is the lazy thing to do.

  21. mongoose704 Says:

    The love of money is the root of all evil.

    The love of the rich is the root of all stupidity.

    We suffer from the latter and that is why Washington is so damn stupid.

  22. trufiend138 Says:

    who will be the voice of reason in congress when he is gone?

  23. Michael7477 Says:

    Dr. Paul will NEVER make it to the white house. If he did he’d get the same treatment as Kennedy. Unfortunately most sheeple don’t even understand what Ron Paul is saying. He is for too decent to become president. And he has the audacity to point out what is really going on.

  24. Lobotomick Says:

    is it just me or does Ron Paul seem like the last good man left alive?

  25. sandythebear Says:

    The man to clean out the neo-cons and the liberals, excellence
